Echinocereus moricalli

Echinocereus morricalii, native to Nuevo Leon, is a freely clustering cactus of the group of cacti known as "Hedgehog" cacti. Thick, emerald green stems that are nearly spineless. Stems appear as if molded of green wax, and cluster freely from the base. Can be used as hanging basket. Fantastic shiny Magenta flowers to 4" in diameter. Porous cactus soil with adequate drainage. Bright light with ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Protect from frost.
