Aeonium sunburst

Aeonium 'Sunburst' (Copper Pinwheel) - Aeonium sunburst have green and white rosettes with red tips. They grow to about 18 inches tall. They need bright shade to full sun and watering once a week in warmer weather and occasional watering in winter. They are NOT frost tolerant. This plant is aka Aeonium arboreum 'Luteovariegatum'. Aeonium 'Sunburst' (Copper Pinwheel) - Aeonium sunburst have green and white rosettes with red tips. They grow to about 18 inches tall. They need bright shade to full sun and watering once a week in warmer weather and occasional watering in winter. They are NOT frost tolerant. This plant is aka Aeonium arboreum 'Luteovariegatum'. Often found as Aeonium decorum 'Tricolor', Aeonium 'Sunburst' forms beautiful rosettes to 12" in diameter of pale lemon yellow leaves that have frosty green midstripes. Margins and tips of leaves turn rose-red in bright light. Sometimes the entire half of the plant is yellow, while other half is green. Very variable. Excellent accent for patio or in landscaping designs. Porous soil with adequate drainage. Bright light to full sun with ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Summer dormant; preferable to provide cool shade during dormancy.
